Calling the Church to Unity

Participants gather for the Genius of One conference.

Living Water International partners with The Crossing, a St. Louis-based church, each year to host a global conference, The Genius of One. This October, over 1800 church leaders gathered virtually and were encouraged to act as one to share the gospel of Christ in word and deed. One attendee, Pastor James Manda of Zambia, offers this powerful testimony as an example of God’s faithfulness.

“Very rarely does the church work as a team, and take the initiative to help one another in the tough moments. And so what I’ve learnt today as a leader is to take a step in incorporating other people. It’s very important that we do not allow segregation to rob us of the unity we ought to have as the church. This is because Christ’s desire is that we should be one. I am very thankful for this opportunity that I’ve been privileged to part of.”
